FastParts Business to Business (B2B) platform is an extension of an already existing system that is used to facilitate the supply chain of spare automotive parts. The B2B platform connects business clients to their own environment where they are able to place orders, monitor them, check status, balance and more. With the introduction of the platform, the load of requests is now more balanced. In other words, the requests for spare parts are no longer funneled through a single store. Instead, the largest customers now handle their requests themselves while the main store continues handling requests on B2C basis.
As a B2B customer, efficiency and convenience come as the top priorities. It is why the process of placing orders is simplified to achieve these goals.
The B2B interface comes with additional features so the customers can monitor their expenses. From the “Accounting” tab user can toggle between “Payments” and “Balance log” where they can view completed payments as well as the balance sheet of the unpaid items.
We introduced “Order history” as another valuable feature. Once the number of orders is significantly large, it is useful to have insights into historical data for various purposes including price comparisons, repeating orders and other small data. Multiple filter options allows to leave out unnecessary data and focus on what is important.
